Yesterday morning the Joint Line south of Palmer Lake was a winter wonderland with everything covered in Hoarfrost, a southbound BNSF coal load was passing through Monument.

BNSF 8587 heads South with a loaded coal train at the North siding switch at Monument. Overnight, the trees in the background and bushes in the foreground had been covered with frost.
